My name is Sophia Allen
Hey there! I’m Sophia Allen, a 21-year-old marketing major at Southeastern Louisiana University, where I’m absolutely loving the creativity and strategy behind everything I’m learning. When I’m not diving into textbooks or brainstorming marketing campaigns, you’ll probably find me balancing a million things with my job, my church family at Galvez Pentecostal, or my latest adventure as a freelance social media marketer.
A few months ago, I took a leap of faith and opened my very own coffee cart, The Baaarista Kart! It’s a fun little extension of my mom, Sarah Allen’s, farm-to-table business, Old Rusty Gate Farm. We bring the community together with fresh, delicious coffee at all kinds of special events—whether it’s weddings, birthdays, showers, or anything in between. If there’s caffeine involved, I’m there, and I love every minute of it!
On top of all that, life’s been extra sweet lately because I’m recently engaged to my amazing fiancé, Grant. We’re getting married this April, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin this new chapter together. Between school, my business, and planning a wedding, life is busy—but it’s all so worth it!
I’m passionate about what I do, and I’m always looking for new ways to be creative, connect with others, and share a little joy (preferably with a cup of coffee in hand). Thanks for stopping by, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
